Alcott Participates in Operation Homefront Jeans Day

Yesterday was Veterans Day – a day to thank and honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. Alcott HR Group is proud to support Operation Homefront NY & NJ. Alcott employees raised $400 by donating a minimum of $5 each to wear jeans to work for this worthy cause.

Operation Homefront’s target population is American military personnel and/or their families who have unmet needs due to financial hardship, death, injury, or physical/mental detriment as a result of service in Iraq or Afghanistan. These may include Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard and Veteran service members. The organization provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

In honor of our service men and women, Operation Homefront NY & NJ honors our Veterans by teaming with various companies in New York to raise money for this cause.
