Should I get a male or female?

Males are sweet, simple,  and very loving.  If neutered by six months, they do not learn to lift their leg and are quite easy to house train.  Females are independent, complex, loving and sometimes moody. Females can have a mind of their own and will have you eating out of their paws in no time.  If you can't decide, you can always get both!

Does the puppy's activity level seem normal?

 Remember that most puppies sleep for 2-3 hours at a time. When puppies are awake they should be energetic and exploring their surroundings with enthusiasm.
 

Do poodles shed?

One of the reasons poodles are so popular as companions is that they don't shed. They are naturally hypoallergenic and perfect for people with dog allergies.
