The Alcott Group's Western New York Division Named PEO For World DLA

Buffalo, NY…

The Alcott Group's Western New York Division (the former Contract Staffing) announced today that it has been named the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) for World DLA (Buffalo, NY), a leading-edge provider of real time, endpoint authentication solutions applied particularly for driver's license authentication.  Alcott will be providing World DLA with its comprehensive Human Resources (HR) outsourcing solution including payroll administration, employee benefits design and administration, tax administration and regulatory compliance.

World DLA was founded in 1997 by Rick Nicholas, an Oklahoma Police Officer and developed by Donald Meade, a Canadian businessman upon their realization that approximately 10% of the U.S./Canadian population has invalid licenses at a given moment. When the company decided to form a U.S. enterprise, it incorporated in Delaware in April 2005 and established its offices in Buffalo, New York. Based upon the advice of various accountants and attorneys, World DLA determined that an HR outsourcing relationship was in its best interest in view of the quagmire of complex U.S. and state employment laws and workplace regulations, as well as for dealing with other important employee benefits.

According to Jeff Belt, President of World DLA's U.S. operation, "After I joined World DLA I conducted my own analysis of the HR outsourcing option and came to the same conclusion as our trusted advisors. I was already familiar with the strong reputation of Contract Staffing, prior to its acquisition by The Alcott Group. So when the recommendation came that we should use this firm, it was an easy decision. I am also looking forward to deriving key benefits as a result of our PEO relationship."

Mr. Belt went on to cite as one of these benefits, "peace of mind" in knowing that the employer-employee relationship will be managed effectively and in full compliance of the Department of Labor's regulations and employment policies."

He continued, "Alcott has the ability to aggregate demand which enabled us to attain better employee health insurance choices, in addition to affording us the ability to offer a 401(k) plan. As an organization with executives from large corporations such as General Motors where I formerly served, we are used to being able to provide top shelf benefits."

He added, "While we have only been on board for a short time, our experience has been a positive one with Alcott's HR specialists very attentive to our needs."
