The Alcott Group (Farmingdale, NY and Buffalo, NY), one of New York State's most prominent Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), recently announced that Lynne Jordan, Executive Assistant in the company's Western New York Division (Buffalo, NY) has been named a recipient of the 3rd Annual "Pride of Workmanship" Awards by the Buffalo Rotary Club. The award is designed to encourage employers to recognize employees who display the talent and positive attitude meriting the "Pride of Workmanship" Award. Criteria for selecting recipients are job competence, punctuality, consistency of effort, interest and enthusiasm, initiative to work independently, maintaining a pleasant yet businesslike relationship with co-workers and customers, and doing their jobs right the first time. According to the executive team at The Alcott Group, Ms. Jordan is an exemplary employee who meets these criteria and the company's high standards of professionalism and service quality.
Ms. Jordan joined Alcott in 2002. Her responsibilities include diverse day-to-day administrative functions, all designed to facilitate the efficient flow of work and support Alcott's goal of providing excellent customer service. Among the many areas in which she is involved are: Workers' Compensation administration, scheduling pre-employment drug screenings, processing criminal background checks, document management, client communications and essential administrative support to Management.
Ms. Jordan, a resident of Buffalo, NY, holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
