Cathy Glinski, Payroll Specialist at The Alcott Group, Earns FPC Designation

The Alcott Group (Farmingdale, NY and Buffalo, NY), one of New York State's most prominent Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) providing a comprehensive Human Resources outsourcing solution, announced that Payroll Specialist Cathy Glinski, serving in the Western Division office, has earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation awarded by the American Payroll Association (San Antonio, TX). To gain the FPC credential, Ms. Glinski had to successfully pass a comprehensive three-hour examination.

As a payroll specialist at Alcott for the past eight years, Ms. Glinski is involved in all aspects of payroll processing, distribution, billing and customer service on behalf of Alcott's over 200 affiliated companies and their combined employee base of 4,000.

Ms. Glinski is a member of the American Payroll Association (APA) and the Buffalo Niagara Payroll Association (BNPA).

Ms. Glinski holds an Associates Degree from Bryant & Stratton College (Buffalo, NY).

She resides in Depew, NY with her husband, James. The couple has four children and two grandsons, Zachary and Matthew with whom they enjoy spending time.
