Anna Linhart, Payroll Specialist at The Alcott Group, Earns FPC Designation

The Alcott Group (Farmingdale, NY and Buffalo, NY), one of New York State's most prominent Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) providing a comprehensive Human Resources outsourcing solution, announced that Payroll Specialist Anna Linhart, serving in the Farmingdale office, has earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation awarded by the American Payroll Association (San Antonio, TX). To gain the FPC credential, Ms. Linhart had to successfully pass a comprehensive three-hour examination.

As a payroll specialist at Alcott since October 2007, Ms. Linhart is involved in all aspects of payroll processing, distribution, billing, and customer service on behalf of Alcott's over 200 affiliated companies and their combined employee base of 4,000. Prior to joining Alcott, Ms. Linhart served as Payroll Manager with Accretive Solutions Operating Corp. (Hauppauge, NY), where she managed the payroll department; processing and distributing payroll, invoicing client, assisting the controller with reconciliation of wages and payroll taxes, and filing all quarterly taxes.

Ms. Linhart is a member of the American Payroll Association (APA).

Ms. Linhart earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology (Old Westbury, NY) from which she graduated Magna cum Laude.  Additionally, she holds an A.A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies from Nassau Community College (Garden City, NY).

An active member of the community, Ms. Linhart is especially proud of her membership in the Polish American Citizens Association.

She resides in Massapequa, NY with her husband, Lou and his daughters, Lisa and Amy.
